Frequently Asked Questions
How do Urgent Care Centers work?
Urgent Care Centers treat patients with non-life threatening illnesses or injuries who need attention urgently. Walk-in’s are welcome and appointments are not required. TruCare Urgent Care Center is open 7 days a week 7am-7pm
New extended hours coming soon
Why use Urgent Care and not a Primary Care Doctor or the ER?
Studies show the average wait time for an appointment with a Primary Care Physician is over 20 days and the average ER visit lasts over 4 hours! Life-threatening conditions require a costly trip to the ER. Most other services can be obtained at an Urgent Care Center. A visit to TruCare Urgent Care Center doesn’t require an appointment and typically lasts on average about an hour. Not to mention that typically the cost and the co-pays in the ER are far more expensive than at an Urgent Care Center.
Are all Urgent Care Centers created equal?
No, there are several potential differences from one Urgent Care to another. Staffing Models, Services Offered, and Cost are all items to consider. TruCare Urgent Care Center is staffed with all highly trained Medical Professionals. Unlike many Urgent Care Centers we utilize Paramedics that are trained in Emergency Medical Protocols and they are Certified EMS Providers. Our Center also carries the Urgent Care Association of America Certified Urgent Care Center Award which can only be achieved after meeting certain Quality Standards.
Do you accept my Insurance?
While insurance is not required, we accept most major insurance plans, including Medicare, Workers’ Compensation and Commercial Insurances. In the unlikely event that we are not contracted with your insurance carrier, we will care for you and provide you with all the necessary paperwork to seek reimbursement from your insurance. If you would like to see if we take your insurance please call us (321) 723-3627?
What if I don’t have insurance?
No problem! At TruCare Urgent Care Center we provide affordable self-pay rates and will work with you. Paymentat is due at the time of service.
What forms of payment do you accept?
TruCare Urgent Care Center accepts Cash, Personal Checks, and all Major Credit Cards. Payment is due at the time of service. Employers may call (321) 723- 3627 to inquire about establishing a Corporate Account for Pre-Placement Services and Workers Compensation Care
Do you see Patients of All ages and any condition?
TruCare Urgent Care does not see Infants under 6 months of age, Patients with Chest Pain, or Pregnant Women. These Patients are better served with Providers that Specialize in that Complexity of Care. Any Patient that is having Chest Pain should call 911 and go to the nearest Emergency Room for Care.
